Once again the Blue Apple bunch convened at Hemel Hempstead’s Shendish Manor Hotel for our annual supplier fair and awards dinner, celebrating the best produce, innovative ideas and of course rewarding those who’ve gone the extra mile in 2019, the most successful year in Blue Apple’s history.
Before the evening festivities, we were pleased to welcome a full room of traders to our supplier fair, from our more established partners such as Bidfood and e-foods with their eye-catching display of fresh produce. We also welcomed our Green Apple ambassador team — with an eye on sustainability they produced a fun ‘Weigh Your Waste’ activity for our teams, designed to keep the conversation going on how to operate sustainably in our restaurants.
It was then on to the evening, as Blue Apple teams from across the country changed into their most dapper clothing for our fantastic awards dinner and presentation, presented by CEO Brian Allanson and David Belsey (Executive Chef). The awards are an opportunity to recognise the dedication of the Blue Apple team and reward those who have demonstrated passion and innovation in their roles.
