Josh wins Acorn Award

We’re pleased to announce that Joshua Key, development and sustainability manager at Blue Apple, has been named as one of 2020 Acorn award winners – one of 30 exceptional young people in the sector to receive the award.

The Acorns, which are awarded to talented individuals under the age of 30 in hospitality, is announced every year by The Caterer, one of the industry’s leading publications. Previous winners include many of the UK’s most inspiring figures within the hospitality industry.

Since joining Blue Apple Josh has embraced our business with real passion and drive, from delivering his bespoke and innovative tender documents, bespoke websites and interactive presentations leading to a string of high-profile contract wins. Josh also leads our sustainability department of 11 Green Apple ambassadors and has set key targets and measures for our teams to follow. This allows us to honour the commitment of being as sustainable as we can throughout our business.
