For the fourth year in a row, we’re delighted to announce that we have been included in the Top 20 best performing businesses in the annual Foodservice Growth Report.
Blue Apple are proud to be one of the few independently-owned businesses within the report, which is based on compounded annual growth rate, to have appeared over multiple years. Compiled by Alix Partners and EP Business in Hospitality, we have maintained our position from 2016.
More recently, we are pleased to report continued growth in the 2nd quarter with new wins totalling £3.5 million turnover. The most noticeable gains include the opening of a world-leading Industrial Gases company with approx. 1000 staff who are based on a technology park in Surrey and the opening of 2 sites in the Midlands who specialise in the automotive seating and electrical sector.
Along with the recent appointment of Lee Maycock as Chef Director for the company the future is looking rosy. Lee has a wealth of experience from running his own catering consultancy company and is currently the Chairman at the Craft Guild of Chefs Academy. Lee will use his skills to develop the chefs and build on Blue Apples fresh food ethos.
