…and our 2019 winners are Endang Gonzalez and Adam Faccini, our long-serving and dedicated chef manager duo who run our twin client site in Bedfordshire, and our first dual recipients of the award.
Enthusiastic Endang joined Blue Apple in 2006 and had previously worked at one of our smaller facilities before her eye-catching and always beautifully presented Asian inspired cuisine earned her a move to her current state-of-the-art restaurant. Since making the move, Endang has helped to create a truly flagship restaurant where she is well-loved by her customers and she has hosted a number of cookery classes on site as well as in her local community.
Adam joined Blue Apple in 2015 as head chef at one of our busiest restaurants and after making a name within the business was awarded with the chef manager position when our client opened their second offices in Bedfordshire. It’s a fantastic, modern site and Adam has worked to make it vibrant with live cooking and special events. Both Endang and Adam support each other on a daily basis, from day-to-day service to assisting our sales and marketing team and it was only fair that the duo were both awarded Chef of the Year.
Enthusing about our award winners, who scooped their prize at our Annual Awards Dinner, Executive Chef David Belsey said Adam and Endang have been on top of their game over the last 12 months with a food delivery that has made them standard bearers for the whole company. Whilst they embrace the Blue Apple style and expectations, these two wonderful chefs are still able to express their own unique food styles. Deserved winners!
